Billy Carson Cox, 89, passed away Monday, June 19, 2023. He was born July 3, 1933 in Union County, NC, son of the late Vernon Hampton and Maggie Pigg Cox. He was preceded in death by his wife, Helen Aycoth Cox and son, Danny Cox.

A graveside service will be held Thursday, June 22, 2023 at 11:00 AM in Lakeland Memorial Park. The family will visit with friends and relatives from 10:00 AM - 10:45 AM prior to the service in Gordon Funeral Service, 1904 Lancaster Avenue, Monroe, NC 28112.

Mr. Cox is survived by his son, Terry Cox; daughters, Cynthia Robinson and Connie Jordan; ten grandchildren; twenty-three great-grandchildren; and his sister, Joyce Greene.
