William Charles Chuck Smith, 58, of Charlotte, passed away Friday, September 2, 2016. He was born August 3, 1958, in Robeson County, NC, to Dora Boan and Elder Charles Leslie Smith. Chuck was self-employed as an IT Specialist. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his brother, Leslie Elliott Smith and wife, Wanda; and sister, Robin Smith McCollum and husband, Mark. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, September 8, 2016, at 11:00 AM at Crooked Creek Primitive Baptist Church, 7918 Crooked Creek Church Road, Monroe, NC 28110.
