Dwayne Everette Hinson, 85, of Wingate, NC passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by his loving family on May 31, 2023. He was born in New Salem, NC on May 1, 1938, son to the late Charley Hinson and Daisy Jane Griffin Hinson.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, June 3, 2023, at Midway Baptist Church, 4615 Olive Branch Road, Wingate, NC 28174, with burial to follow in the church cemetery with Military Honors. The family will receive friends following the committal service in the Church Life Center.

Dwayne is survived by his loving wife of 57 years Judy Pressley Hinson, son Stan Hinson (Debra Martin) and daughter Tina Fillmer (Joe), three grandchildren Olivia Sutterby (Matt); Mariah Fillmer; and Jennifer Malone (Doug); two great-grandchildren Kate Malone and Allison Malone.
