Johnny Edward Norris, 79, peacefully passed away Monday, January 23, 2023 surrounded by his family. Johnny was born in Union County, NC on October 21, 1943, son of the late Esther (Belk) Norris and John C. Norris. He was preceded in death by his wife of 43 years, Sally Davis Norris. Johnny owned and operated a vending business for 30 years before retiring in 2017 to care for his late wife.

Funeral services will be Saturday, January 28, 2023 at 3:00 PM in Gordon Funeral Chapel, 1904 Lancaster Avenue, Monroe, NC. Burial will follow in Lakeland Memorial Park.

Johnny is survived by his daughters, Dana Norris, Elizabeth Vance (Shawn), Kati Norris and Sarah Norris; grandchildren, Abigail Norris-Young, Emma Young, Quinn Vance and Colton Vance; and sister, Elaine Pender.
