Mary Geddings Long, 75, passed away Monday, June 29, 2015. She was born in Scotland County, NC on April 15, 1940 daughter of the late George and Nessie Goins Geddings. The family will receive friends 3:00 PM Wednesday, July 1, 2015 at Gordon Funeral Service, 1904 Lancaster Ave., Monroe, NC, with funeral service to follow at 4:00 PM in the Gordon Funeral Chapel. Mrs. Long is survived by her husband, Willie Long, daughter, Darlene Long Philemon of Monroe, brothers, Billy Geddings (Diane) of Charlotte and David Geddings of Laurens, SC, sister, Paulene Harper (James), of Charlotte, 5 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
