Stanley Victor “Stan” Bowen, 70, passed away Friday, August 3, 2018. He was born July 12, 1948 in Douglas County, GA, son of the late Victor Henry Carrie Louise Martin Bowen. He is also preceded in death by a son Steve Bowen, a daughter Tracy Bowen, and a sister Patsy Hall. A memorial service will be held 11:00 AM, Sunday, August 19, 2018 at Freedom Baptist Church, 4007 Old Marshville-Pageland Road, Wingate, NC 28174. The family will receive friends following the service. Stan is survived by his living wife Linda Bowen, a son Chris Bowen, two brothers; Ricky Bowen and Michael Bowen, five sisters; Shirley Wilson, Mattie Grogan, Brenda Price, Peggy Dillard and Dawn Tucker, two stepchildren; Chris Robinson, and Lori Kalcheff, and five grandchildren.
