Virginia Lee (Lindsay) Medlin

Virginia Lee Medlin, 81, of Monroe, passed away Monday, July, 3, 2017. She was born in Union County on April 27, 1936 a daughter of the late Ervin Lewis and Clara Richardson Lindsay. She is preceded in death by her husband, Obie Medlin who died on August 20, 2003. A memorial service for Mrs. Medlin will be held 2:00PM Thursday, July 6, 2017 at the Gordon Funeral Chapel 1904 Lancaster Ave Monroe, NC 28112 with the Rev. Todd Daniels officiating. The family will receive friends following the service. Mrs. Medlin is survived by three daughters, Mary Hinson of Florida, Lynn Goodwin of Monroe, Cheryl Verdone of Monroe, one brother, Ned Lindsay of Monroe, four sisters, Marilyn Brewington of Pembroke, NC, Sue Lindsay of Oak Island, NC, Ann Jones of Oak Island, NC, Carol Sunberg and her husband Bill of Oak Island, NC, eight grandchildren, 11 great grandchildern and one great-great grandchild.
