A. Lynn Hunt, 76, of Waxhaw passed away Saturday, May 20, 2017. She was born in Essex County, NJ on August 11, 1940 a daughter of the late Norman Thieme and Matilda Hicks. Lynn was a volunteer at JAARS for 18 years. Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Wednesday, May 24, 2017 at Hermon Baptist Church, 9713 Lancaster Hwy, Waxhaw, NC 28173 with the Rev. Larry Underwood officiating. Burial will follow at Waxhaw Baptist Church Cemetery (Round Top). The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1:00 PM until 1:50 PM at the church. She is survived by her loving husband of 56 years, James Hunt, a sister Norma Smiles and her husband Jim Young of Princeton, NJ. Memorials may be made to JAARS, P.O. Box 248 Waxhaw, NC 28173.
