Agnes Carroll Helms, 98, passed away December 14, 2014. She was born December 7, 1916 in Union County, NC, to the late John Monroe and Eula Autin Carroll. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, December 17, 2014 at Monroe City Cemetery. Mrs. Agnes is survived by her son Eugene Helms of Monroe. She was preceded in death by her husband Thurman “Mr. Pete” Brown Helms.
