Alan Dale Kight, 61, passed away Thursday, November 26, 2015. He was born in Union County, NC on November 16, 1954, son of the late William and Mary Margaret Kiser Kight. The family will receive friends Monday, November 30, 2015 from 10:00 until 10:45 AM at Gordon Funeral Service, 1904 Lancaster Ave., Monroe, NC 28112 followed by the funeral service at 11:00 AM in the Gordon Funeral Chapel. Burial will follow in the Waxhaw Baptist Church Cemetery. Mr. Kight is survived by his, daughters, Stacey K. Duncan of Waxhaw and Heidi Joy Blankenship of Ft. Mill, SC, son, Adam Kight of Charlotte, brothers, Mitchell, Gary and George Kight, sister, Judy K. Helms of Mt. Gilead and 4 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, Robbie Kight, brothers, Virgil and William Glenn Kight.
