Albert Craven Gordon

Mr. Albert Craven Gordon, 67, of Monroe, NC passed away Wednesday, October 21, 2020. He was born in Union County on February 28, 1953 son to the late Albert Fredrick Gordon and Clara Massey Gordon. He is also preceded in death by his brother Calvin Gordon. The family will receive friends from 1:00PM until 4:00PM on Sunday, October 25, 2020 at their residence. A private memorial service will be held at a later date. Craven graduated from Parkwood High School and Wingate College; he was a dedicated employee of Monroe Hardware for 47 years. He is survived by his loving wife of 39 years, Jan Hinson Gordon, their children, Lauren Gordon Phipps, Kevin Gordon and Austen Gordon, grandchildren, Joshua Gordon, Hailey Gordon, Arthur Gordon, Oliver Gordon & Emerson Gordon and sister Doris McManus.
