Alice Petty, 74, passed away May 5, 2015. She was born on January 8, 1941 daughter of the late Johnny and Roosevelt Brooks Maynor. The family will receive friends Saturday, May 9, 2015 at 10:00 AM at Gordon Funeral Service, 1904 Lancaster Ave., Monroe, NC followed by the funeral service at 11:00 AM in the Gordon Funeral Chapel. Burial will follow in Sharon Memorial Park, Charlotte, NC. Mrs. Petty is survived by brothers, Effird Maynor of Matthews and Jerry Maynor of Indian Trail, sisters, Jo Ellen Placanica of Staten Island, NY and Barbara Esposito of Matthews.
