Alma Gilbert Robinson, 89, died Wednesday, November 19, 2008. She was born in Lenoir County, NC on February 15, 1919 daughter of the late Franklin and Mary Brown Gilbert. She was a retired Federal employee. Funeral services will be held Sunday, November 23, 2008 at 4:00 PM in the Wingate Baptist Church 109 E. Elm St. Wingate NC, 28174. Burial will follow in the Wingate City Cemetery. Mrs. Robinson was preceded in death by her husband Max E. Robinson. She is survived by sons, Stephen Robinson and wife Gail of Wingate, Ernest Robinson and wife Linda of Burlington, daughter, Maxine Rothrock and husband Carl of Greenville, brother, Marion Gilbert of New Bern, sisters, Claro Humphrey and Betsy Pittman, both of Grifton, grandchildren, Raleigh, Marisa, Stephen, Denise and Danielle Robinson and 1 great grandchild.
