Monroe, NC Alyssa Ellen Smith, 26, of Monroe, passed away Friday, July 20, 2018. Alyssa was born on September 8, 1991. Alyssa graduated from Parkwood High School in 2009 and attended Appalachian State University where she pursued her interest in art. A memorial service will be held at 11:00AM, Saturday, July 28, 2018 at Ebenezer Baptist Church, 1417 Unionville-Indian Trail Rd, Indian Trail, NC 28079. The family will receive friends following the service in the church. She is survived by her father Norman Smith, (Bonnie McLemore) and mother Ruth Presson Smith, (Gregory Edd Little) a brother Chad Smith, Step Grandmother Lil Smith. She is also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins who all loved her and will miss her dearly. Alyssa is preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Henry and Frances Presson and paternal grandparent, Harold N.
