Anabel Medina, 93, of Waxhaw, NC passed away on Tuesday, October 21, 2025. She was born in Oriente, Cuba on March 14, 1932, daughter to the late Raul Medina and Emma Medina. She is also preceded in death by her loving husband, Cecilio Medina, sons, Rivail Medina, Raul Medina and a brother, Orlando Medina.

A funeral service will be held at 3:00PM on Friday, October 24, 2025, in the chapel of Gordon Funeral Service, 1904 Lancaster Ave., Monroe, NC 28112.

Anabel is survived by her daughter, Anabel Kay (Tom), daughter in-law, Gloria Medina, four grandchildren, Michael Medina (Suzie), Kristian Dieumegard (Suzi), Matt Wells (Jackie), Angela Wells, six great-grandchildren, Becca Medina, Kathryn Medina, Niam Dieumegard, Nathaniel Dieumegard, Barrett Wells, Emma Wells, and a sister, Margarita Bonamo.
