Angela "Angie" Smith Manus

Angela “Angie” Smith Manus, 55, passed away October 3, 2024. She was born on September 8, 1969, in Mecklenburg County, NC, daughter to Carol Baker Smith, and the late James Leonard Smith III.


A memorial service will be held on Monday, October 7, 2024, 6:00 PM, at Covenant Baptist Church, 2706 Secrest Shortcut Rd, Monroe, NC 28110. The family will receive friends and family following the service at the church.


She loved time camping with her family. She was always the brightest light in any room, and she loved anyone she crossed paths with. She has the heart of a warrior with the biggest testimony of Faith and God’s love.


In addition to her mother, Angie is survived by her loving husband, Tony Manus, son, Alston Sprague (Jessica McMurray), daughter, Amber Starnes (Bryan Strawn), and grandchildren that she adored, Oakley Starnes and Kennedy Grace Starnes.


In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the National Kidney Foundation of North Carolina, Inc., at 5950 Fairview Road, Suite 550 Charlotte, NC 28210.
