Ann Satterwhite Lida

Iva “Ann” Satterwhite Lida, also known as Mama and Nanny, 86, went to her heavenly home Monday, July 21, 2025.

Ms. Ann was born in Lauren’s County, SC December 27, 1938. She was the daughter of the late Rufus S. and Iva F. Satterwhite. Ann was preceded in death by her loving husband of 65 years, Rev Kenneth E Lida, Sr, grandchildren Kenneth “Trey” Lida III, Ricky J Pearson Jr. and Ms. Lori Broadway and great-granddaughter Karsyn Wallace.

A service will be held on Sunday July 27, 2025, at 2:00PM at Trinity Baptist Church, where she is a member. The address is 2613 Concord Hwy. Monroe NC 28110. The family will have visitation from 1:00-1:45PM before in the sanctuary.

She graduated from Wingate University with Honors in 1989 at the young age of 51.

Ms. Ann leaves to cherish her memory with her 5 children. Kim Broadway (Larry), Kenny E. Lida, Jr (Joanne), Rosie Richardson (Doug), Genie Pearson (Rick) and Lydia Wallace (Tim). Also, her grandchildren that she loved so very much. Cregg Richardson (Andrea), Kelly Lida (Fernando), Kyle Richardson (Emilea), Jaime Matthews (Thomas), Emily Schneider (Trevor), Clint Broadway (Claudia), Rev. Drew Wallace (Stephanie) and Mallory Deason (James).

Ms. Ann “Nanny” is so blessed to have 30 great grandchildren and 9 great-great grandchildren. They will cherish her love and her love for Jesus.
