Ann Margaret (Medlin) Rowell

Margaret Medlin Rowell, 80, of Monroe, passed away Wednesday, February 8, 2017. She was born December 24, 1936 in Union County a daughter of the late Henry and Mable Pressley Medlin. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Dottie Adcock and Betty Lee. Funeral services will be held 4:00PM Saturday, February 11, 2017 at Hillcrest Baptist Church with the Rev. Gene Mullis officiating. Burial will follow in the Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 3:00 to 3:45pm Saturday at the Church. Mrs. Rowell is survived her husband of 48 years Adrain Rowell, three sons, Gene Copper and wife Tammy of Indian Trail, James A. Rowell, Jr. and wife Sherry of Monroe, Jeffery Allen Rowell and wife Cheryn of Monroe, a daughter Betty Sue Copper of Pageland, SC, three brothers, Neal Medlin and wife Lucille, Hoyle Medlin and wife Ann, Vann Medlin and wife Wendy all of Monroe, a sister, Shirley Carpenter and husband John of Monroe, 10 Grandchildren, Trina McNeely, Carla Olive, Courtney Shirlen, Mackenzie Isaman, Sue Ann Simpson, Amy Jo Paige, Casey Rowell, Shelby Rowell, Elizabeth Rowell, Jordan Rowell, five great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
