Arlene Sawyer Sullivan

Arlene Louise Sawyer Sullivan, 92, of Monroe, passed away on Wednesday July 30, 2025. She was born in St. Lawrence County, NY on December 9, 1932, daughter to the late William and Marion Sawyer. She is also preceded in death by her brothers Roger, Gordon, William and Thomas, Husband Lawrence Thomas Sullivan, two sons Larry Paul Sullivan and Michael Joseph, granddaughter Sarah Kraemer.

Arlene is survived by her son William Sullivan (Sandy) and three daughters, Peggy Calkins, Jean (Ken) Kraemer, Michelle Williams. (Dick), nine grandchildren, Eric (Denielle), Shannon (Michael), Jeremy, Aimee, Casey (Guy), Justin, Rachael (Michael), Michael (Grace) and Neill, fifteen great grandchildren and six great-great grandchildren.

Her love, strength and wisdom have been the guiding force in our lives, shaping us into the person we are today. Her unwavering support and unconditional love have been the constant that has carried us through life’s triumph and challenges. She embodied the true essence of maternal love and her impact on our family is immeasurable. We will continue to draw inspiration from the incredible legacy she has built. Her love and legacy will live on through us.

Arlene was currently residing in Monroe, NC with her daughter, Jean and son-in-law, previously lived in Rochester, NY and Wanakena, NY.

A memorial service will be determined at a later date.
