Dateline: Marshville, NC Arthur Alfred Little, 83, passed away Monday, June 18, 2012. He was born in Union County, NC on November 20, 1928 son of the late Jesse Alexander and Veda Edwards Little. The family will receive friends Thursday, June 21, 2012 from 10:00 until 10:45 am at Gordon Funeral Service, followed by the funeral service at 11:00 am in the Gordon Funeral Chapel, 1904 Lancaster Ave., Monroe, NC 28112. Burial will follow in Euto Baptist Church Cemetery. Mr. Little is survived by his son, Kenneth Little and wife Patsy, daughter, Shirley Little Gardner and husband Arnold, their mother, Mattie G. Carpenter all of Marshville, brothers, Robert and Don Little, of Marshville, Boyce Little of Monroe, sisters, Gertha Knight of Charlotte and Doris Baucom of Monroe, 3 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
