Audrey Lynn (Hall) Holton. Beloved wife to, Clarence S. Holton, (deceased). She was born June 15, 1954, in Rochester, New York.
Audrey's journey in life took her from N.Y. to North Carolina. She had the most beautiful soul with an outlook on life that everyone loved about her. She was never known to have a mean or evil bone in her body. She loved people, family, those she worked with, and those she had known for a lifetime. She loved the Lord and respected his teachings.
Never having any children of her own didn't stop her from loving yours. She was clearly the favorite Aunt because she showed love without spoiling them. Everyone just enjoyed her uniqueness in being herself. She never showed more love to one over the other.
She became a member of the Big Brothers and Big Sisters, so she could help the child feel loved and good about themselves. She was always thinking of others and caring for others in such a way they would be thankful for having her in their lives.
Audrey supported St. Jude’s Hospital, and Mercy Ships where they would give the children back their smiles. The children she never had turned into many who would benefit from her love. What a Big and Beautiful heart she had.
While working at Stanley Power Tools in New Bern, N.C. she worked with a remarkable man ( her supervisor), who she fell in love with and they married. They eventually bought a camper and would enjoy going to places from Virginia to the Great Smokey Mountains.
During their travels, they would work for the campgrounds, and they were greatly appreciated. Good workers they were and were sad to say goodbye when it came time for them to travel on. They would settle in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee. They loved it there and family members enjoyed visiting with them.
Audrey's jobs included working for Dollywood, The Cracker Barrell, Texas Road House, and the campground they lived in. She met a lot of good people and left a lot of good friends behind.
She was happily married for 40 years before the Lord called her husband home and it was Audrey's own medical problems that were the only reason, she moved to North Carolina to live with family.
