Autumn Nichole Plyler, 16, of Waxhaw, passed away Saturday, July 11, 2015. She was born September 14, 1998, in Mecklenburg County, NC. A member of Spirit of Joy Lutheran Church in Weddington, she was very active with AWANA. Autumn loved being with her friends, swimming, and roller-skating. She enjoyed music, art, making collages, and anything that was pretty. Autumn was described as vibrant, bubbly, and outgoing, and loved to greet people with her famous hello, darling. Autumn is survived by her mother, Katrina Plyler; her father, Jamie Plyler; two sisters, Alexis and Aubrey Plyler; maternal grandparents, Paul and Grace Closius; and paternal grandparents, Betty and Jerry Plyler. A visitation will be held Sunday, July 19, 2015, from 3:00 to 5:00 PM at Spirit of Joy Lutheran Church, 8600 Potter Road, Weddington, NC 28104. A funeral service will be conducted Monday, July 20, at 3:00 PM at Spirit of Joy Lutheran Church.
