Barbara Chaney Clontz, 76, passed away Friday, January 31, 2014. She was born in Union County, NC on October 4, 1937 daughter of the late Thomas Edward and Martha Jane Hinson Chaney. Mrs. Clontz was preceded in death by her husband, Dennis Ralph Clontz on January 1, 2014. She was also preceded in death by a son, Frank and a daughter, Kimella. Funeral services will be held Monday, February 3, 2014 at 1:00 PM in Corinth Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends following in the fellowship hall. Mrs. Clontz is survived by a daughter, Sheryl Donahue Montgomery of Monroe, brother, Edward Darrell Chaney of Monroe, 2 grandchildren, April French and husband Woody and Billy Donahue III and wife Amber, 6 great grandchildren, Shelby and Sydney French, Taylor, Billy IV, Brooklyn, Brennan Donahue.
