Barbara Griffin Ellis, 92, passed away on Wednesday, August 21, 2024. She was born in Union County, NC on January 28, 1932, daughter to the late Jacob “Zeb” Griffin and Marie Allen Griffin. She is also preceded in death by her husband of 70 years, Warren Austin Griffin.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, August 24, 2024 at 11:00AM at Lakeland Memorial Park, 1901 Lancaster Ave. Monroe, NC 28112.

Barbara is survived by her son Jim Ellis (Mary); three grandchildren, Mary Anna Ellis, Dan Brooks, Ben Brooks; and six great-grandchildren.
