Barbara Ann Walters

Barbara Collins Walters, 85, of Peachland, passed away Thursday, July 17, 2025. She was born in Anson County, NC on January 17, 1940, daughter to the late Thomas Bryce Collins and Sarah Molcie Atkinson Collins. She is also preceded in death by her first husband Shelly Baucom and her second husband Ronald Aaron “Ronnie” Walters, and a grandson Austin Morton.

A funeral service will be held at 3:00PM on Sunday, July 20, 2025, at New Home Baptist Church, 1617 New Home Church Rd, Peachland, NC 28133, with burial to follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1:30PM until 2:45PM in the sanctuary.

She retired from Howell Center Charlotte and Autumn Care Marshville.

Barbara is survived by two sons, Benny Baucom (Charlene), Tim Baucom (Dawn), three daughters, Denise McRae (Mark), Lisa Morton, (Patrick), Donna Walters, six grandchildren, Dathan D’Agostino (Marco), Julie Byrd, Courtney Campbell (Verne), Tom Baucom (Kalie), Baylee Anders (Matthew), Brandon Morton (Lani), seven great-grandchildren, Kiersten Byrd, Adelyn Byrd, Zeke Campbell, Isla Campbell, McCoy Baucom, Lucy Baucom, Madi Blaire Anders.
