Beatrice Birmingham Pressley, 92, of Monroe, NC passed away on Tuesday, September 22, 2026. She was born in Union County, NC on January 1, 1934, daughter to the late James Marshall Birmingham and Annie Lee Williams Birmingham. She is also preceded by her late husband, Walter Edward Pressley.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00PM on Thursday, October 1, 2026, at Sardis Baptist Church with a burial to follow at Stephenson Presbyterian Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 12:00 PM until 12:45 PM at Sardis Baptist Church, 3602 Unionville - Indian Trail Rd W, Indian Trail, NC 28079.

Beatrice is survived by her son, Roger Pressley (Rheba), daughter, Tammy Haigler (Terry), five grandchildren, T.J. Haigler, Jessie Pressley, Samantha Beaverson (Daniel), Kim Rushing (Stevie), Todd Haigler (Donna), Donald Cuff, eight great-grandchildren, and sister, Peggy Watts.
