Bedford Ramsey

Bedford Ramsey, 85, died Tuesday, June 17, 2008. He was born in Kings Mountain, NC on August 19, 1922 son of the late Jesse Lee and Emma Lee Ramsey. Mr. Ramsey was a retired employee of Scott Aviation. Funeral services will be held Friday, June 20, 2008 at 11:00 AM at Benton’s Cross Roads Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Lakeland Memorial Park. He was preceded in death by a brother, Jennings Ramsey. Mr. Ramsey is survived by his wife, Frances “Frankie” Ramsey, a son, Wayne Ramsey of Ocala, FL, a daughter, Anita Strand and husband Gaynor of Sunset Beach, NC, a brother, Ted Ramsey of Marietta, GA, two granddaughters and two great grandsons. The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 at Gordon Funeral Cremation Service. Memorials may be made to Benton’s Cross Roads Baptist Church, 109 Lawyers Rd.
