Bedie Perry Baucom

Mrs. Bedie Perry Baucom, 83, of Monroe, NC passed away surrounded by her family on Thursday, August 20, 2020. She was born in Union County on May, 25, 1937 daughter to the late J.A. Perry and Clemmie Connell Perry. She is also preceded in death by her husband Jimmy “Jim” Baucom, as well as two sisters; Dorothy Carnes and Wilma Moore. Bedie was a loving and supportive wife of 59 years to Jim and together they owned and operated Unionville Grocery. She was a staple in the Unionville Community and will be greatly missed. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, always putting others first and would earnestly pray daily for her family. A graveside service will be held at 3:00pm, Sunday, August 23, 2020 at Shiloh Advent Christian Church Cemetery, 3601 Sikes Mill Road, Monroe, NC 28110. Bedie is survived by her three sons; Tony Baucom (Kim), Greg Baucom (Tammy), and Russ Baucom, two daughters; Debbie Medlin ( Everette), and Denise Baucom (Jody), eight grandchildren; Drew Medlin (Bailey), Brett Medlin (Morgan), Luke Baucom (Jessica), Carley Greene (Travis), Ethan Howle, Savannah Baucom, Noah Baucom and Dylan Baucom, five great-grandchildren; Hampton Medlin, Palmer Medlin, Finley Baucom, Landry Baucom and Cashel Greene.
