Bennie Eugene Love

Monroe, NC Bennie Eugene Love, 79, died Thursday, September 4, 2008 after an extended illness. He was born in Monroe, NC son of the late Ben and Ruby Hargett Love. Mr. Love retired from Overnite Transportation Co in 1975. He lived for his family and was loved by many. Graveside funeral services will be held Saturday, September 6, 2008 at 3:00 PM at Crooked Creek Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery. Mr. Love is survived by his wife, Geraldean Broadway Love, sons, Douglas Love of Raleigh, Wayne Love of Concord, and David Love of Charlotte, brother, Dennis Love of Monroe, sisters, Joy McCray and Ruth Cooper, both of Monroe and 4 grandchildren, Derek, Ashley, Maggie and Sarah.. The family will receive friends Friday evening from 5:00 until 7:00 at Gordon Funeral Cremation Service, 1904 Lancaster Ave., Monroe, NC 28112.
