Dateline: Monroe, NC Benny Neal Knight, 63, passed away Wednesday, April 25, 2012. He was born in Union County, NC on May 8, 1948 son of the late Miller and Louise Jenkins Knight. A memorial service will be held Saturday, April 28, 2012 at 2:00 pm at Eastwood Forest Baptist Church. The family will receive friends following the service. Mr. Knight is survived by his wife, Beverly Baucom Knight, son, Kenneth Knight and wife Tammy of Monroe, daughter, Kim Cox of Concord, brothers, Donny Knight and Barry Knight, sisters, Gayle Cardwell and Oleen Helms, all of Monroe, 3 grandchildren, Joseph Smith, Brandon Smith and Zach Knight and 1 great grandchild, Riley Smith all of Monroe.
