Bernice “Bunny” Maxfield Aldrich, 92, of Waxhaw, NC passed away on Tuesday, March 17, 2026. She was born in Orange County, VT on December 5, 1933, daughter of the late Lesle Ernest Maxfield and Marguerite Dodge Maxfield. She is also preceded in death by her husband Richard Andrew Aldrich, son, Rodney Aldrich, brother, Dick Maxfield, and sister, Betty Frary.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, April 4, 2026, at Cleveland City Park, 300 Clement St, Cleveland, NC 27013. She will be laid to rest privately at Lakeland Memorial Park.

Bunny is survived by son, Craig Aldrich, two daughters, Laraine Mann, Beatrice Moore, 15 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, two brothers Louis Maxfield, Bob Maxfield and two sisters, Marjory and Lorna Eaton.
