Bette Brooks Hill

Bette Brooks Hill, 77, beloved wife, mother, grandmother and sister died Tuesday, October 9, 2007. She was born in Greenville, SC on August 19, 1930 daughter of the late Lloyd Thomas and Kathleen Lillian Dodd Brooks. Funeral services will be held Friday, October 12, 2007 at 2:00 PM at Mountain Springs Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Union Baptist Church Cemetery. Mrs. Hill is survived by her husband, John Everette Hill, son, John Lloyd Hill and wife Danyah of Monroe, sister, Martha B. Boyd and husband W.R.“Buddy” of Sunset Beach, NC, grandsons, John Daniel Hill and Charles Cameron Hill, niece, Teresa Cochrane and husband W.P.,Jr, nephew, Steven B. Boyd, great nephews, W.P Cochrane III, Jason B. Cochrane and Andrew T. Cochrane. The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 7:00 until 8:00 at Gordon Funeral Cremation Service, 1904 Lancaster Ave., Monroe, NC 28112.
