Betty Elizabeth Furr

Indian Trail, NC Betty Elizabeth Furr, 74, passed away Tuesday, May 18, 2010. She was born in Union County, NC on March 7, 1936 daughter of the late Rommie and Fannie Helms Thomas. A memorial service will be held Sunday, May 23, 2010 at 2:00 PM at Gordon Funeral Chapel, 1904 Lancaster Ave., Monroe, NC 28112. The family will receive friends following the service. Mrs. Furr is survived by her husband, Donald Boger Furr, daughter, Lee Ellen Simpson of Marshville, brothers, Roy Thomas of Marshville and Douglas Thomas of Polkton, sister, Frances Williams of Marshville, grandchild, Josh Bartlett.
