Betty Pryor Geer

Betty Lee Geer, 91, passed away on Friday, September 13, 2024. Betty was born in Martins Ferry, OH, on June 27, 1933, to the late William Pryor and Mary Albus. She is preceded in death by her husband, William "Bill" Geer; son, Gary Geer; and daughter, Sheri Cox.

Betty was one of the strongest women her family and friends ever met. She ran a tight ship at home and in the business world, raising four children and helping her husband run a successful manufacturing company in Monroe, NC. She was quick-witted and sharp as a tack until the day she died. Betty loved to laugh until she snorted. She had a sweet tooth for anything chocolate but was diligent about her exercise routine, so it never affected her figure. Betty loved the sun, the beach, and dancing and made many happy memories with her family at their vacation home in Cherry Grove.

Betty is survived by her twin children, Lynn, and Lantz Geer; grandchildren Adam Weinstock (Hannah), Drew Weinstock (Olivia), and Jena Weinstock; and four great-grandchildren Ruby, Millie, Witt, and Finn.
