Betty Jo (Hill) Howard

Betty Hill Howard, 77, passed away Thursday August 25, 2011. She was born in Stanly County December 7, 1933 daughter to the late Crowell Jackson and Lois Hathcock Hill. She is also preceded in death by her husband after 58 years of marriage Homer Gene Howard, a daughter Cynthia L. Howard, two brothers Richard and Larry Hill, and a sister Lavonne Melton Funeral services will be held on 3:00 PM, Sunday, August 28, 2011 in Gordon Funeral Chapel with burial to follow in Lakeland Memorial Park. Betty is survived by her daughter Susan H. Easley of Monroe, a brother Jim Hill and wife Linda of Gastonia, a sister Janice Barbee and husband Charlie of Locust three grand daughters Hillary Howard of Monroe, Heather Wilkins of Monroe, Holly Wilkins of Lancaster, four great grandchildren Colby and Caitlyn Howard, Christian Carvalho and Chandler Wilkins. The family will receive friends and family on Sunday August 28, 2011 from 2:00 PM until 2:45 PM at Gordon Funeral Service and Crematory 1904 Lancaster Ave. Monroe NC 28112.
