Betty Jo Jones, 89, passed away Thursday, August 05, 2021 at home surrounded by her family. She is a native of Union County and the daughter of the late Henry C. Baker and Callie Aldridge Baker. She is preceded in death by her husband, W.A. “Bill” Jones; brother, Conrad Baker and sister, Margie Fite. Funeral services will be 3:00PM Sunday, August 8, 2021 at Gordon Funeral Chapel, with burial following at Lakeland Memorial Park. The family will receive friends and family prior to the service from 2:00PM until 2:45PM at Gordon Funeral Service, 1904 Lancaster Avenue Monroe, NC 28112. Betty Jo is survived by her two sons, Michael Eubank (Terry) and Randall Eubank (Sherry), both of Waxhaw, NC; two daughters, Patricia Plattenburg (Hayne) of Waxhaw, NC and Betty Jean Parker (Max) of Monroe, NC; eleven grandchildren, twenty-five great-grandchildren and three great great-grandchildren.
