Carol Carnes Collins, 72, passed away Tuesday, July 5, 2016. She was born in Union County, NC on May 1, 1944 daughter of Cora Lee Belk Carnes and the late John Benton Carnes. A memorial service will be held Saturday, July 9, 2016 at 11:00 AM in First Presbyterian Church. The family will receive friends following the service in the fellowship hall of the church. Carol is survived by her mother, Cora Lee Carnes, her husband, Billy Collins, son, Kelly Collins and wife, Shawna Davis Collins all of Monroe, daughter, Lisa Hollingsworth-Stritt and husband Brian of Greenville, SC, sister, Sandy Mills and husband Bobby of Monroe, and 2 grandchildren.
