Bill Maynard

Dateline: Monroe, NC Bill Maynard, 76, passed away Saturday, February 5, 2011. Bill was born in Wayne County, West Virginia, October 15, 1934 son of the late Roy and Polly Perry Maynard. He worked at the Union County Solid Waste Satellite location on Parkwood School Road. He was a dual member of the Masonic Lodge in Pearl, Mississippi [Past Master] and Waxhaw, NC. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, February 8, 2011 at 2:00 PM in the Gordon Funeral Chapel. Burial will follow in Lakeland Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 12:00 Noon until 1:45 PM prior to the service at the funeral home. Bill is survived by his wife Betty Pemberton Maynard; daughter Brenda Carol Bacon and husband Allen; brothers Donald Maynard, Halcy Maynard; sisters Sarah Shropshire, Faye Hanlon, Rosella Fugate, Joanne Curry, Nina Marcum, Charlene Spaulding and Sue Grimmett.
