Billy Eugene Sparrow, 83, of Mineral Springs, passed away Monday, June 29, 2026. He was born in Kings Mountain, NC on November 27, 1942, son to the late Thomas Sparrow and Flora Holloway Sparrow. He is also preceded in death by his loving wife, Mary Ann Newell Sparrow.

A graveside service will be held 11:00 AM, Thursday, July 2, 2026, in the Newell Family Cemetery, 6403 Waxhaw Highway, Mineral Springs, NC, 28108.

Bill is survived by his daughter, Charity DiLallo (David), brother, Douglas Sparrow (Patsy), nephews, Eric Sparrow and Matt Helms and special companion, his dog, Rosie.
