Billy Griggs Beaver

Billy Griggs Beaver, 89, passed away Wednesday, March 01, 2023. He was born April 24, 1933 in Union County, son to the late Anderson Redwine Beaver and Eunice Semiria Whitley Beaver. He is preceded in death by his wife, Doris Carnes Beaver, he is also preceded in death by twelve siblings.

A graveside service will be held 11:00AM Saturday, March 4, 2023 at Lakeland Memorial Park, 1901 Lancaster Ave., Monroe, NC 28112.

Billy was an auto mechanic his entire career. He always enjoyed watching his grandsons play sports. He also loved camping at the beach.

Billy is survived by his two sons, Johnny Beaver (Susan), Bobby Beaver (Denise), three grandsons; Aaron Beaver (Kristen), Grant Beaver (Tara), Galen Beaver (Morgan) and five great-grandchildren; Noah Beaver, Ansley Beaver, Silas Beaver, Oliver Beaver and Aria Beaver.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to Hospice of Union County, 700 Roosevelt Blvd., Monroe, NC 28110.
