Billy Joe Hinson, 79, passed away Saturday, January 10, 2015. He was born April 6, 1935 in Union County, NC son of the late Henry LeRoy and Mary Ozell Long Hinson. He is also preceded in death by his wives Shirley Dulin Hinson and Lynda Wallace Hinson. Funeral services will be held on Monday January 12, 2015 at Antioch Baptist Church 6224 Love Mill Road, Monroe NC 28110. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will visit prior to the service from 1:00 PM until 2:45 PM. He is survived by a daughter Debra Hinson Phillips, four sons Mike Hinson wife Debbie, Terry Hinson wife Linda, Danny Hinson, Joseph Hinson wife Devon, one brother Henry LeRoy (Junior) Hinson, three sisters Lavonne Greene, Lindene Mullis, and Gail Aycoth all of Monroe, nine grandchildren, and nine great grandchildren.
