Billy Bivens Mason, 85, passed away Thursday, July 23, 2015. He was born April 4, 1930 in Stanly County, NC son of the late George Franklin Hallie Bivens Mason. Mr. Mason was a US Army Veteran, and retired from the NCDOT. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM, Monday, July 27, 2015 in Gordon Funeral Chapel, 1904 Lancaster Ave., Monroe NC 28112. Entombment will follow in Lakeland Memorial Park. The family will visit prior to the service beginning at 10:00 AM until 10:45 AM at the funeral home. Billy is survived by his wife Evelyn Keziah Mason, son William Mason of Monroe, and a daughter Elizabeth Mason, of Mooresville, NC. Memorials may be made to Donor’s Choice.
