Bo Mcwhorter

Bo McWhorter, 54, passed away Tuesday, October 20, 2015. He was born in Union County on September 17, 1961, son of the late Allen Wilson and Kathleen McManus McWhorter. He was also preceded in death by a sister, Barbara Beckham. Funeral services will be Friday, October 23, 2015 at 11:00 AM in Mary Elizabeth Baptist Church, 3703 Mary Elizabeth Church Rd, Waxhaw, NC 28173. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will visit with friends and relatives Thursday, October 22, 2015 from 5:00 - 8:00 PM at Gordon Funeral Service, 1904 Lancaster Avenue, Monroe, NC 28112. Mr. McWhorter is survived by his wife, Marla Hill McWhorter; sons, Chad, Jacob and Luke McWhorter, all of Waxhaw; brothers, Roger, Tony and Kenneth McWhorter, all of Monroe; sisters, Sue Broadway and Phyllis McCune of Monroe and Sherry York of Waxhaw.
