Bobby Harold Earp, 75, of Monroe, NC passed away Sunday, August 22, 2021. He was born in Union County on August 31, 1945, son to the late Harold Williams Earp and Dorothy Helms Earp. He just celebrated 58 wonderful years married to his loving wife, Donnie Sanford Earp who survives of the home. They have two children, Robin Barbee (Mark) of Midland, NC and Mr. Richard Earp of Charlotte, NC. Also surviving is his brother and best friend, Paul Earp of Wingate, NC. Bobby was the owner of Bobby Earp’s Concrete Finishing in Monroe for over 50 years. Bobby also had given his life to Christ and he enjoyed going to his Church, Life Giving Christian Center of Monroe. Bobby was the best PawPaw to all his Grandchildren, Chris Knight (Ashley), Josh Knight (Ashley), Tim Knight (Megan) and Lyndsey Strickland (Jordan) and all eleven Great grandchildren. An Honorable mention to his family is Pam Rape Echols of Marion, NC. He will definitely be remembered as always caring for others. A funeral service will be held at 3:00PM, Monday, August 30, 2021 at Gordon Funeral Chapel, 1904 Lancaster Ave, Monroe, NC 28112. Burial will follow in Lakeland Memorial Park. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1:00PM until 2:45PM.
