Bobby William Ford, 88, passed away on Monday, July 8, 2019. He was born on March 26, 1931 to the late J.W. Ford and Margie Lucille Humphries. Bobby is also preceded in death by his wife, Agnes Williams Ford, and grandson, Jamie Greene. Funeral services will be held at 12:00pm on Saturday, July 13, 2019 at Wingate Baptist Church, 109 E Elm St, Wingate, NC 28174. The family will receive friends from 11:00am until 11:50am prior to the service. He is survived by his son Michael Allen Ford of Monroe, daughters, Lana Ruth Ford of Monroe, and Claudia Irene Baucom of Burnsville, brother, Lonnie Humphries of Laurinberg, sister, Connie Helms of Clemmons, six grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild. Bobby was a charter member of the Wingate Volunteer Fire Department, the New Salem American Legion, and was also a member of the Mason and Shriners Lodge.
