Rev. Bobby Edward Hardin MONROE - Rev. Bobby Edward Hardin, 62, passed away January 2, 2013. He was born in Cherokee County, SC on January 21, 1950, son of Marjorie Campbell Clark and the late G. N. Hardin. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Daniel Hardin. Rev. Hardin was a U. S. Army veteran and a retired Baptist minister. A Celebration of Life service will be Saturday, January 5, 2013 at 1:00 PM in Covenant Baptist Church, 165 Craig Manor Rd., Lancaster, SC, led by Dr. Bert Welch. A visitation reception will follow the service in the church fellowship hall. Burial will be Saturday, at 3:30 PM in Lakeland Memorial Park, 1901 Lancaster Ave., Monroe, NC In addition to his mother, Rev. Hardin is survived by his wife of 41 years, Edythe Bradford Hardin; son, Rodney Neal Hardin and wife Tami of Stallings, NC; daughter, Stephanie Hardin Williams and husband Galen of Monroe; brothers, Steve Hardin of Concord and Timothy Hardin of Columbia; sister, Jane Hardin Rinehart of York, SC; and grandsons, Frazier and Turner Williams.
