Dateline: Monroe, NC Bobby Ray Wallace, 72, passed away Tuesday, April 30, 2013. He was born in Union County on September 12, 1940, son of the late C. Ray and Myrtle K. Wallace. He was preceded in death by his sister, Lynda Hinson. A memorial service will be Thursday, May 2, 2013 at 11:00 AM in Gordon Funeral Chapel, 1904 Lancaster Avenue, Monroe, NC 28112, officiated by Rev. Roy Helms and Rev. Eddie Price. The family will visit with friends and relatives following the service. Mr. Wallace is survived by his wife, Martha N. Wallace; daughters Melissa Guin and husband Chris and Monica Teague and husband Chuck, both of Monroe; brother Ronald Wallace of Waxhaw; sisters, Dorothy McWhorter and Sara Logan of Waxhaw and Gail Huey of Merridianville, AL; grandchildren, Elizabeth Leigh-Ann Teague, Christina Ann Guin and Darrell Ray Guin.
