Boyd Adcock

John Boyd Adcock, 86, passed away Sunday, March 19, 2017. He was born March 3, 1931 in Union County, NC son to the late Silas Alfred Ada Melissa Broome Adcock. The family will receive friends on Thursday, March 23, 2017 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Gordon Funeral Service, 1904 Lancaster Ave. Monroe, NC 28112. A private family graveside service will be held at Lakeland Memorial Park. Boyd is survived by his loving wife Barbara Jean Cox Adcock, three daughters; Gail Barnes of Waxhaw, Donna Adcock of Waxhaw, and Robin Metcalf, of Asheboro, sister Ellen Keziah of Monroe, two grandchildren, and four great grandchildren.
