Breanna Rae Ringersen, 22, passed away on Monday, September 11, 2017 due to a horrific car accident. She was born in Boynton Beach Florida on May 4, 1995, daughter to Craig and Loreen Snyder Ringersen their only child. During the early part of Breanna’s life she participated in soccer, gymnastics, dance, cheerleading until she found her passion for the game of softball. Her softball life began with I.T.A.A. Breanna played for Sun Valley Middle School and Central Academy of Arts until she graduated in 2013 from the Drama Academy. In December of 2016 Breanna graduated early from the University of North Carolina-Charlotte with a degree in Criminal Justice and a double minor in Journalism and Genocide - Holocaust Studies. She was a member of the Kappa Delta Sorority. This lead her to her new journey to join the Police Academy to become a police officer to serve her community. Her favorite sports teams were the New England Patriots and the Boston Red Sox. She did like the Panthers but adored Luke Kuechly even better. Breanna’s favorite music artists were Taylor Swift and Adele and was a true fan of the show Grey’s Anatomy She loved her four dogs; Zoee, Lacey, Riley-Rose, and Darby. Her laughter was infectious and her smile radiant! She is preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Herbert and Marion Ringersen, maternal grandparents, John and Madeline Snyder, and her uncle, Jack Snyder. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, September 16, 2017 at Love Baptist Church, 707 Deese Rd, Monroe, NC 28110 . The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Friday, September 15, 2017 at Gordon Funeral Service, 1904 Lancaster Ave. Monroe, NC 28112. In addition to her parents and her boy friend, the love of her life, Daniel Meyerhoffer Breanna is survived by her three uncles, Herb Ringersen( Randi ), Scott Ringersen( Beth ) all of Florida, Bob Snyder, ( Donna ) of Pennsylvania, Aunt, Patricia Snyder of Pennsylvania, her God Mother, Kristie Wiseman, husband Eric and their son Garrett of Georgia, along with many cousins from Florida and Massachusetts, and a dear family friend, Diane Risoldi. In lieu, the family has requested memorials to be made to the Alzheimer’s Association at Alz.org or to the Down Syndrome Association of Greater Charlotte, 4530 Park Road, Charlotte, NC 28209.
