Brenda Mae Price Lindsay, 68, of Monroe, NC passed away on Sunday, December 18, 2022. She was born in Union County on July 16, 1954 daughter to the late Melvin Price and Evvie Price. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Charles Price.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, December 21, 2022, at Antioch Baptist Church, 6223 Love Mill Road, Monroe, NC 28110, with burial to follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 12:30 PM until 1:45 PM in the church sanctuary.

Brenda is survived by her loving husband of 51 years Ron Lindsay, daughters, Lori Simpson (Andy), and Penny Helms (companion Jimmy), grandchildren, Jacob Simpson (Ashley), Hannah Powers (Matthew), Madalyn Watts (Cameron), Olivia Helms, Luke Helms (companion Melanie), Nathan Simpson, Emma Simpson, as well as 4 great-grandchildren, Everly, Mason, Ruby Powers, and Kolton Watts. She is also survived by her brother, Jerry Price (Patsy), and mother-in-law, Betty Gordon.

Brenda loved her family, her shopping trips, and her beach getaways. She was a fighter that overcame some impossible odds in the last couple of years. But most of all, she loved her Lord and we can rejoice today knowing that she’s in the arms of Jesus.
